Fugro Pelagos and Fugro LADS are seeking a Hydrographic Lidar Business Development Manager. Responsible for: Marketing and business development of Fugro’s Airborne Lidar Bathymetry services in the Europe, Africa and Middle East region.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline from a four-year college or university with at least 10 years of related industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5-years experience in a sales, marketing and/or business development role for a professional services (survey) company or other relevant marketing / business development experience is required. Must be eligible for international travel documents Qualifications in surveying or a geospatial discipline At least 5 years field surveying experience, preferably with ALB systems. Current Drivers License.

Geodynamics is pleased to announce an opening for a coastal and marine surveyor or surveying technician to be based in Moorehead City, North Carolina. Applicants should have either a 4 year degree in Geomatics (or related discipline) or 2-3 years experience in the field of coastal surveying. The position will assist with field data collection in beach, marsh, and offshore environments. The position will also assist with data processing, analysis, report production, and equipment maintenance.

Applicants should have the following qualifications: experience with modern hydrographic and topographic surveying instrumentation and methods, and basic to high-level knowledge in ArcGIS, Hypack, TGO, Surfer, and Windows OS.

Looking for experience in hydrography and/or land surveying, 3D data collection and processing (Hypack/ACAD/TerraModel), Trimble RTK/DGPS systems, and various marine electronics (gyrocompasses/fathometers/tidal systems/radiotelemetry). BS Civil Engineering preferred, but will consider related degrees and experience. Willing to further train candidates that possess some of these abilities.
