Primary responsibilities: To create and develop business relationships with senior managers, technical supervisors and engineers by giving expert technical sales support and quotations on a wide range of Kongsberg's “Subsea” products and integrated systems. Significant domestic, some international travel and occasional work aboard offshore vessels is to be expected.
Qualifications: Strong technical background, capability to work independently in the field and directly with the customer. Degree in engineering, GIS, or marine science and/or technology or equivalent work experience is strongly desired. Experience in the geophysical and/or hydrographic survey industries, preferably with knowledge of the Gulf of Mexico offshore marketplace.

Candidates with 2-5 years of surveying and mapping experience within the dredging industry are preferred. Geodynamics is pleased to announce an opening for a coastal and marine surveyor or surveying technician to be based in Moorehead City, North Carolina. Applicants should have either a 4 year degree in Geomatics (or related discipline) or 2-3 years experience in the field of coastal surveying. The position will assist with field data collection in beach, marsh, and offshore environments. The position will also assist with data processing, analysis, report production, and equipment maintenance.
