Jason Fahy, CDR (ret) USN 
Jason is the Associate Director of the Ocean Exploration Cooperative Institute at the University of Rhode Island.  In addition to leading the day to day operations of the Cooperative Institute he works on bringing new technologies and operational concepts into ocean exploration.  Most recently Jason has led research expeditions in the Great Lakes, American Samoa and throughout the Hawaiian Archipelago.  He started at URI in 2021 following 20 years of service in the United States Navy.  As a Commander, Fahy was stationed in Washington D.C. leading technology development and deep ocean operations in support of critical infrastructure protection.
