THSOA Member Dr. John K. Hall had an Insider's View column in Hydro International magazine.

He also shares news that his new ship R/V Bat Galim passed its acoustic noise measurements and acceptance of its two multibeam sonars.

To view and read his insider column in Hydro International Magazine click here.

Israel Oceanographic & Limnological Research had a poster session at the recent 2015 U.S. Hydro Conference. To view the Poster, click here.

Dr. Hall's hope is that the ship will finish up the swath mapping of the eastern Mediterranean, and hopefully the northern Red Sea in coming years.

All membership applications and renewals should be submitted & paid to The Hydrographic Society of America at www.thsoa.org. In recent months members have been renewing their memberships via the Houston Chapter website at http://houston.thsoa.org instead of through the National website.

We ask members to please apply, renew and pay for their membership via the THSOA website as it streamlines the membership application/renewal process. The Houston Chapter website should only be used for Houston Chapter events registrations.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the administrative assistant at admin@thsoa.org.
