THSOA – Southeast Chapter is pleased to announce that we have awarded $14,000 in scholarships this year to deserving students. Since 2013 the SE Chapter has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships.

On the same day of the celebration, the Italian Hydrography Society (IHS) is organising a very important event in Acireale (Sicily), Italy, following the theme issued by IHO. Distinguished guests will be addressing the attendees on various topics in relation to this years’ theme. The event will have the patronage of the IHO and the Istituto Idrografico della Marina di Genova. This event aims to raise public awareness and understanding of the critical role hydrography and hydrographers play in achieving a sustainable and harmonious relationship with our oceans.
World Hydrography Day 2024 - Photo Contest
The Hydrographic Society of America (THSOA) SE Chapter is having a photo contest with the top 12 photos being featured on our 2025 calendar! Each winning entry can pick the month they want their picture on the calendar (First Come, First Serve). A brief company overview/contact information etc, will be included with the picture.
